Hi, I’m Miriah! I’m the photographer behind Roam and Capture Photography.
For me, photography has never been about getting everyone to stand perfectly and smile at the camera. I want to capture people as they actually are. The laughs between poses, the movement, the little details, and all the moments that feel like you.
I photograph everything from couples and families to seniors, weddings, events, and the occasional creative idea that gives me an excuse to try something completely different. My style is natural, adventurous, and a little unposed because some of the best photos happen when you forget I’m even taking them.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me outdoors, traveling, looking for wildlife to photograph, or convincing myself I definitely need more camera gear.

Meet Leorah, my second photographer and an important part of Roam and Capture Photography!
You’ll often find her shooting alongside me, catching the moments happening from a completely different perspective. While I’m focused on one part of the story, she’s able to capture the reactions, details, and little in-between moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Having two photographers means more angles, more candid moments, and a fuller story of your day or session without making things feel overly posed or complicated.
Basically, if you see two of us wandering around with cameras, you’re probably about to get photographed from every angle.
